We´re Wide Vision!

Well I´ve been a teacher more than 25 years in Brazil and all I know is that it feels great working with people from many parts of the world and I´ve always enjoyed sharing information and learning from them too. As a kid being around some American kids made English and Spanish easier for me as a second language.

Some of their parents could speak Spanish so sometimes when they were with us I could understand a bit more. You know Spanish sounds much more familiar to us Brazilian.

As a matter of fact I´ve never wanted to be a teacher but because of an invitation and after having some training classes I thought it´d be a good way to keep on being around some of the best friends I´ve ever had.

Movie lessons,narrative lessons, audiovisual lessons, structural lessons, functions, in and outside the classroom – there´s a technique for everything you do. We´ve been teaching and training other teachers since 1985. We all follow the international pattern when it comes to teaching English, Spanish or Portuguese.

When it comes to Wide Vision Brazilian students, they have been prepared to take the proficiency tests given by some universities like Cambridge, Michigan or Salamanca in case they are interested in getting an international certificate. Back in the end of the 80’s we decided to open our own institute of languages in order to show them that learning a new language would help us get closer to our new friends from North America or Europe.

We all know English and Spanish are spoken everywhere you go so we can make friends all over the world. Teaching Portuguese as a foreign language has brought many students straight to Teresópolis lately. Before teaching there´s a lot of psychology and technique to be taken into consideration. Success is getting what you want but first of all we must love what we do.
